Girl yes - I drank like this too. But with nips of 99 guavas. I remember the night before everything changed I woke up for my usual shot at like 4am (from the couch cuz I of course initiated a fight with my husband so I could sleep alone and drink without him "knowing") anyways, I woke up and did the shot and it immediately came back up... which wasn't normal for me. After about 6 months of tracking and googling "liver failure symptoms" and taking pictures of my eyes and belly every day.... the morning after this happened as I was walking into work my coworker said to me "girl r u okay? You look pale!" (What she really meant was yellow...) I knew that second it was all over. I called my husband, called my boss, && decided it was time to go to the ER. I did my last shot on the way home from work and in the car otw to the hospital I felt something in my soul. That was it. It was all over. After nearly a decade of active addiction... i was either going to die or get sober. 1356 days and counting now. Thank. F***ing. God.

The worst part of the 3 am anxiety is you can't check in with anyone, or ask anyone what happened, or get a sense of your partners mood that early so you spend the next several hours on anxiety HELL

I’ve never related to someone so much in my life, I’ve commented on some of your videos but idk if you’re seen them but I was sober for 95 days, I slipped up. I went on a bender for 4 days and I feel SO GUILTY, I am beating myself up so bad. But just because I slipped doesn’t mean I can’t get back up. This is exactly how it was for me before I got sober and I can not and will not go back to that. Please pray that I make it way longer than 95 days. I know I can.

My sister’s best friend died at 35 this past March from liver cirrhosis and organ failure. Went into the hospital drunk, coma three days later and died after five weeks. My dad is headed in that direction

Yup that 3am wake up is the WORST literally feel like you’re going to 💀 for real. Problem was I never had more to help go back to sleep I finished it all the night before. Then I’d have to wait till 10 am when the liquor store opens 😩 brutal

That was me with vodka , hiding it under my bed or in a metal water bottle . Lost a lot of friends and family distanced themselves from me . The worst part for me was the depression from it and the swelling . I’m 4 going on 5 years sober in Jan !

Got to the point if I was low in alcohol and my stomach was empty if I threw up I would use a cup and DRINK IT BACK UP!!! That was one of the lowest points I can remember. Couldn't risk withdrawal. so gross. 2 1/2 yrs sober now.
