@gamereactions1: 🚨Federico Valverde on what he told José Mourinho before stepping on the pitch and scoring tonight: 🗣️Valverde “I walked straight to José Mourinho before the game got underway and told him, ‘Boss, don’t worry. I’m getting the job done for you tonight.’ I looked at his face and could see how much pressure he was under. I knew he needed this victory, and I wanted him to understand that we were not going to let him down. When the opportunity came, I didn’t hesitate. I took my shot, trusted my ability and put the ball in the back of the net. Honestly, when I scored, the first person I looked at was José. I remembered what I had promised him before the game, and I knew I had delivered. People have been questioning this team, questioning the manager and saying all sorts of things. But tonight, we showed that we are ready to fight for him. I told him I would get the job done, and I kept my promise. I hope people now understand that we are fully behind our manager. We don’t want to see him under pressure anymore. We want to win trophies with him.”#realmadrid #fanbase #manchesterunited #football #semu
