I think it's less about where you live and more about where you run. there's certain environments I avoid completely. no white parties, R&B brunch events, or any of that if I I'm trying to avoid the status quo. you get the same people at all those events. it's like 2° of separation. I tend to do things outside of those circles. I'm writing a book, so I tend to look for groups of like-minded people. we do our things off the grid where a flyer can't find us
