This is the method tho, it makes you seen as a great employee regardless of you only being good for 2 out of the first 6 months you’ve been there. They’ll always remember how much of a hard worker you were at the beginning and will hold out in faith for you to go back to that lol + you and them both know you can just up the level if you really want to so there’s no pressure at all, it’s just that you’ve prioritized not going out of your way to do extra work and carry extra pressure without extra pay, but you are worth the extra pay and can be given a deserved raise / promotion because they know you can always reach that level again. It works every time and if they bring it up that you’ve dropped off in level, you can just say you’re goin thru some personal family problems and boom, they can’t question it and that’s your warning to lock in again without any real consequences
