@veryvalleylife: Tuning Fork in Studio City is closing! The live music spot and gastropub on Ventura Place is shutting its doors for good, with the last day of service set for November 24. The Studio City Chamber of Commerce says it's been a Studio City staple since opening in March 2013. Owner Joseph Kuras has been a big supporter of the community, and he's also an excellent drummer who teaches drums on the side. Their message is that the LA music community is people, not a place. They're hoping to find a new venue soon and are open to suggestions, so if you know of a spot, get in touch with them.
