If I could give someone starting e-commerce one piece of advice, it would be not to confuse having a store with understanding how to run a business. Building the website is only one part of it. You still need to understand your customers, your offer, your costs and what makes someone choose you. Once I began looking at it that way, I stopped treating every new tool or product as the next big breakthrough.
