@luis_martinez50fit: FULL CIRCLE. ❤️ Today, I stood outside Kearney Middle School in Commerce City — the same school I attended as a kid. But today, I wasn’t there as a student. I was there with a purpose much bigger than myself. Through The Martinez Foundation, Leadership Commerce City, and Adams 14, we’re working to launch a food backpack program that will help feed approximately 400 students every week across 10 district schools. 400 kids. Every single week. ❤️ We had the opportunity to walk through the cafeteria and kitchen where we hope to bring this program to life. And standing there, I couldn’t help but think about how far we’ve come and how much more we have to do. To our incredible board members, sponsors, partners, and everyone who continues to believe in this mission — THANK YOU. None of this happens without you. We’re not just filling backpacks with food. We’re helping fill a gap for children and families who need us. We’re building relationships, creating opportunities, and working toward breaking the cycle of food insecurity in our communities. And we’re just getting started. We’re also collecting winter coats, jackets, hats, and socks through our Warmth Drive, along with cookies, pies, and other sweet treats to help make Thanksgiving meals a little more special for families in need. If you’d like to help, donate, volunteer, or become a partner, please reach out. This is our community. These are our kids. And together, we can make a difference. From Commerce City, for Commerce City. ❤️ #TheMartinezFoundation #CommerceCity #Adams14 #FoodSecurity #CommunityStrong
