Yes - this is a start. As a Montrealer believe me, the police have been doing these kinds of things for YEARS and none of us are really that surprised. The SQ is even worse for it. This is the first time we’re seeing consequences being handed down instead of accusations “vanishing” mysteriously. Not all of them are corrupt, but corruption in Quebec is finally reached it’s breaking point

only 7 were fired for both incidents, smfh. if I remember correctly, there were at least 12 in the collecting dreadlocks incident. and they were Just fired. what about charges?? did they lose their pension too?? this is not accountability. this is the Bare Minimum.
