it starts with you just showing off your favorite products! tag the brands, actually follow the brands, actually interact on their pages- most brands arent going to just go hand out free stuff to people who have never bought from them, or ever even tried them, supporting a brand is free and they definitely notice the people who are consistently showing up on their pages and leaving comments and posting about them. before i even hit 1k i was getting contacted by makartt, sxc, and saviland because i had purchased one or two items from each of them and made a bunch of videos showing off how much i loved it❤️

First thing you need to do is put your email in your bio! That’s how most brands will reach out to you. Especially if you’re not getting approved for free samples yet. Also, start tagging the brands in the content you already make and photos you post (products used). Lastly, make informative content. It can be work with me, tutorial, showing how you did your nails/a set, wether that’s from a beginner standpoint where you’re asking for advice or from a teaching standpoint where you’re showing something you learned. They want to see that you are using nail products, being consistent, and can show off/market

I’ve worked with many brands I started getting PR as soon as I hit 3k on IG, now I work with a brand who pays me to create work for them so they can sell at Ulta, Target, Etc. TikTok shop is also a way to get PR but I think the best way is just creating content!

Show lots of products in your videos! That way when their PR coordinators take a look at your page, they can see that they’ll be getting visibility for sending you a package❤️

Start with smaller brands, and be willing to create content in exchange for product - not payment! This way you can start to at least create videos and get sent PR and build a portfolio. Send emails and even message on instagram! Also find brands that are available at nail supplies close to you or have ties to where you are from.

Request those free samples and if you’re not getting approved for free samples, post Content with whatever you have and just keep showing up show the products show the brands. Eventually you will start to get free samples and PR. Also add your business email in your bio and you can always pitch to brands and ask them if they have openings on their PR list and if they do, could you be to be added

Just remember if a company gifts you products you don’t have to make content you don’t need to pay taxes on those items. If a company gives you PR in exchange for content. Then you have to pay taxes on those items that were PR.
