@cockpit_grind: fourth month in a row the fuel went up. i paid it this morning and just laughed. a single engine drinks ten gallons an hour. at $7.85 a gallon with someone pumping it, that's $78.50 an hour for the gas alone. the instructor is $65 an hour. the gas costs more than the person flying the plane. the airplane is $165 an hour and most schools quote that with the fuel already in it. 32 bill the fuel separately and 194 never say either way. if you're flying right now, what's your rate at, and does your school say whether the fuel's in it? dm me if you want the list. #studentpilot #ppl #flighttraining #avgas #aviation
