Just put your money in the S&P 500 or and an equivalent ETF vanguard, state street etc has returned 10.51% YOY since 1957. Put it there and you receive on average $36,785 per year to live on by withdrawing it. You can also let it sit and receive more. Inflation will eat up around 6% of returns per year (depending on if inflation increases or decreases per year) so the value of your money will decrease over the years if you continue withdrawing but that’s the safest bet to do. And you won’t have to manage anything. Also you could look into hiring a financial advisor but they will take a percentage to manage your money for doing roughly the same thing depending the rate of return you select and the risk tolerance you allow. An ETF like the ones listed will be your best bet if you don’t go the financial advisor route or money manager route. (This isn’t financial advice) 🙏
