In 2018, a woman was partially pulled through a shattered airplane window at 32,000 feet. In 1988, an enormous section of an airplane’s roof tore away, taking a flight attendant with it. And in 1989, a cargo door failure ripped a hole in a Boeing 747, ejecting nine passengers into the night sky over the Pacific Ocean. NINE PEOPLE.
