@ashleyounnn: i didn’t wanna face that my actions have consequences, didn’t wanna face that i was back in the same cycle, same pattern. all over again. all that work over 9 months felt like it disappeared, but a relapse doesn’t define who i am. or take away all the work i’ve done on myself on this journey. i am more than this relapse. i am human and i am allowed to try again. it started with weed, then alcohol, then other harder substances. still the high wasn’t enough for me. sharing this part of my story bc i don’t want to feel ashamed anymore #sobriety #sober #addiction

In my deepest point of addiction I went to a very dark scary place mentally and it scared the shit of me. That night I gave myself 3 options. 1. End my life which I am personally not able to go through with. 2 tell my parents I need help and go to rehab which also I didn’t wanna do because I didn’t wanna be the reason to make my parents worried (I hid my addiction waaaay too good so they had no idea) 3. Be a bad bitch and pull myself out. I went with option 3 and I came out so mentally strong and confident. So the point is… I know you got this girl and YOU CAN do it!!
