@crushers_factory: Mining 101: Where will new copper mine supply come from in 2027? The copper supply story for 2027 is not driven by one single giant greenfield mine. New mine output will come from a mix of brownfield expansions, project ramp-ups and select restarted operations across multiple regions. Key sources to watch for incremental mine supply next year: - **Chile**: Nueva Centinela expansion is scheduled for first copper output, adding concentrator capacity to unlock existing ore reserves. - **DRC**: Kamoa-Kakula continues its ramp-up, though revised production guidance shows tighter execution risks for 2027. - **Argentina**: MARA / Alumbrera restart targets H2 2027 production, bringing back established copper concentrate capacity. - **Norway**: Nussir underground copper project is targeting commercial operation in 2027. - **Oman**: Mazoon copper project progresses toward commissioning, building a new integrated open-pit and concentrator flow. - **Mongolia & Indonesia**: Continued ramp-up at existing large-scale copper complexes contributes marginal incremental tonnage. One clear takeaway: many of these new streams depend on reliable on-site beneficiation. Low-grade ore, remote locations and local processing rules all make crushing, grinding, classification and flotation circuits a critical bottleneck. Whether you are expanding an existing concentrator or building a new processing line for a greenfield/brownfield copper project, stable, site-adapted mineral processing equipment directly impacts ramp-up speed and recovery performance. Our team supports copper projects with crushing, grinding and separation solutions tailored to ore characteristics, site elevation and available power.
