OKC is not winning a title this season as presently constructed. To many injuries. That leaves the west more open. The Spurs are definitely the strongest team in the west. If The Lakers have any shot to overachieve, they have to address their biggest weaknesses. Backup center and a better starting wing.

First thing is don’t use AI. Second, Lakers got to trade for a back up athletic center. Probably the only team they got to worry about is healthy OKC (which they probably won’t be until next season), Spurs (if they trade Fox), Rockets (until KD has a mental breakdown) Wolves (still employing Goebert), and Blazers (incredible offense but horrible defense when it matters the most).
