That sound is a vocalization of stress/anxiety. It's more of a warning than anything. The huffing from the other black bear is an escalation of that vocalization. Either they are telling you to give them space or are stressed because of each other. The ears back are another indicator, like a cat or dog. That's when you get tf inside slowly and calmly.
