*I was stumbling on my words in the video I was so heated let me just explain what happened* I JUST HAD MY FIRST KAREN EXPERIENCE, AND I STILL CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOME OF THESE WHITE PEOPLE CANNOT SIMPLY MIND THEIR DAMN BUSINESS!! Let me tell y’all what happened. I was delivering an Instacart order to a customer, and I come to this EXACT apartment complex almost every other day. I KNOW HOW THIS COMPLEX WORKS! The customer didn’t provide a gate code OR a door code, so I’m calling and texting them MULTIPLE TIMES with absolutely NO RESPONSE. So, I see this car pulling into the complex. He sees me coming in behind him and IMMEDIATELY SLAMS ON HIS BRAKES, starts waving his hands, gets out of his car, walks straight up to MY CAR, starts TOUCHING MY CAR, and gets right up in my face! But somehow, I’M the one harassing HIM?! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! At that point, I didn’t even have my phone out, which is why you only see what’s happening AFTER the security guard walks up. Now, let’s use some common sense here. My order was ALREADY running late, and I had THREE DELIVERIES to complete. Y’all know how Instacart works! As delivery drivers, WE ARE ON A TIME LIMIT! We cannot sit around and wait for customers to respond whenever they feel like it. I had been trying to reach this customer MULTIPLE TIMES, and that was my opportunity to pull up behind someone entering the complex. I WAS TRYING TO DO MY JOB! MIND YOU, THE SECURITY GUARD WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND UNTIL HE HEARD PEOPLE YELLING IN THE PARKING LOT! THAT’S when he decided to show up! Then this white man proceeds to take matters into his OWN HANDS, telling me I don’t live there and that I have no business following him. SIR, OBVIOUSLY I DON’T LIVE THERE! I LITERALLY JUST TOLD YOU I’M DELIVERING AN ORDER! YOU DELUSIONAL BIRD!!! You could have VERY EASILY minded your business and gone about your day, but instead, you wanted to play CHIEF OF STAFF OF THE ENTIRE APARTMENT COMPLEX! WHO APPOINTED YOU?! You are NOT security, and you are NOT the property manager! Why are you so pressed about somebody trying to get into a complex to DELIVER AN ORDER?! AND THEN YOU WANT TO ACCUSE ME OF HITTING YOUR CAR?! NO ONE HIT YOUR CAR! NOBODY! WHY WOULD YOU IMMEDIATELY STOP AND SLAM ON YOUR BRAKES, WAITING FOR THE SECURITY ARM TO COME DOWN AND HIT MY CAR?! MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE! I’m trying to understand what exactly you thought was going to happen here. Then the security guard, who was NOWHERE TO BE FOUND WHEN THIS STARTED, finally shows up and has the AUDACITY to tell ME to calm down! I can’t stand a tap dancing Ass Nigga cause he NEVER TOLD THAT MAN TO CALM DOWN. He walked up after the man got in my face over there siding with that white man!!!! DON’T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN WHEN THIS MAN APPROACHED ME, GOT IN MY FACE, TOUCHED MY CAR, AND PROVOKED THE ENTIRE SITUATION! NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN, I’M THE PROBLEM?!
