Going into the pereria vs gane fight , gane had just lost to volkov and Alex had one of his best wins, Alex was also moving to the least skilled division, gane has never really shown that he could do what he did to Alex aside from the first volkov fight where he couldn’t even finish volkov, pereria packed on too much unecessary size and was too slow, speed won that fight, if pereria was quicker he could’ve went tit or tat and won
