Tbh we cannot have open borders (it’s ultimately impractical) …. But there need to be robust and efficient immigration processes. America is literally built on immigrants and benefits from us getting the best of the best from all over the world and that’s what makes us great ! But tbh border allowed a lot of my community (lgbt) to escape people literally physically harming us in Jamaica
