Like I keep saying. My wife and I will vote for DeSantis for president. I believe even if he had a Democratic majority in Congress/Senate? I think he is a good compromise centrist candidate

Crazy how he flipped Florida from a battleground state to a hardcore republican state more so than Texas

Waltz is an overstatement. A dsa member getting to 48 is a far far cry from 2024

Same with Kelly Ayotte. She put herself firmly in the conversation for 28. She out ran John Sununu by 15%. Not as famous or big as DeSantis but a ticket of DeSantis and Ayotte in 2028 might be the only way to balance the need to move past Trump while also effectively tributing him and his rebranding of the GOP at the same time.

I just don’t think he could win the middle in a general election. Rubio probably could if he distances himself from Trump

He could also be a compromise between the boomers and the groypers. Groypers are a minuscule fraction of the GOP, but they have momentum and are a loud and vocal minority

YES. People want to see Republicans publicly acknowledge the shortcomings of this administration, they rightfully feel misled and are sick of people backing Trump and MAGA agenda without question. If he goes this route, he could catch a lot of eyes nationwide ahead of ‘28.
