I genuinely don’t think people understand how much I LOVE LeBron James. We are talking about THE LeBron James. The King. The Chosen One. The greatest basketball player to ever touch a basketball. This man has been dominating the NBA for over TWO DECADES, and somehow, even after all these years, he is STILL playing at an unbelievable level. I don’t care what anybody says, LeBron James is one of the most incredible athletes to ever walk this planet. The fact that he entered the NBA straight out of high school and immediately became one of the most hyped-up players in basketball history, then proceeded to live up to every single expectation, is absolutely INSANE. Most players would be happy to have ONE legendary season. LeBron has had an entire career full of legendary seasons. FOUR NBA championships. FOUR Finals MVPs. FIVE MVP-caliber seasons? No. SEVENTEEN All-NBA selections? The accomplishments are genuinely ridiculous. He is the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, and he has done things on a basketball court that I don’t think we will ever see again. His basketball IQ is unbelievable. His passing is unbelievable. His court vision is unbelievable. His ability to control an entire game without even needing to score every possession is something special. He knows where everybody is supposed to be, sees plays before they happen, and makes passes that look like they should be physically impossible. He is a 6’9” powerhouse who moves like a guard, passes like an elite point guard, and finishes at the rim like an absolute monster. AND DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HIS LONGEVITY. HOW IS THIS MAN STILL DOING THIS? Year after year, season after season, LeBron continues to prove people wrong. People have been predicting his downfall for YEARS, and somehow he keeps finding ways to silence everybody. He has played against multiple generations of NBA superstars and competed with all of them. I also have to respect how much pressure he has dealt with throughout his entire career. From being called The Chosen One before he even played an NBA game to having the entire basketball world watching his every move, he has handled expectations unlike anybody else.
