Formerly known as Roosevelt Station, Fernando Poe Jr. Station in Quezon City was renamed in August 2023 under Republic Act No. 11608, honouring legendary Filipino actor, director, and National Artist Fernando Poe Jr. (FPJ). It also serves as a pedestrian footbridge over EDSA. The station’s elevated concourse allows pedestrians to cross the busy road without needing to board a train. Walking through the station, you’ll find escalators, security checkpoints, and access to the pedestrian walkway. However, the experience changes once you reach street level, where damaged pavements, potholes, and scattered rubbish make walking more difficult.
