Just give them a dumbphone. There are still some modern ones, and they retain a lot of the functionality without the internet which is now actually scientifically proven to be reducing our cognitive abilities.

if she wanted to do that bullshi then why not give her a gabb phone when she was in middle school? this is clearly trust issues on the parents part and they are testing her so why not do that when she was younger and it was more socially acceptable? or do parents not care how traumatizing it is to be ostracized by your peers?
