I think we all approached each other more before, because it was our only option. Now we can connect on a dating app (in theory) and it removes that feeling of needing to approach people in real life.

when i was 24 i learned i could approach men with any kind of audacity and even if they weren't interested, they were genuinely so kind. plus i got to go on dates with some really hot men. like way hotter than me.

uhh because we told them not to. and for good reason. Men claim they are "scared" to approach because they don't want to be seen as creeps or can't handle rejection. both of which were often true, but women HAD to deal with those options. WE do not.
