As soon as I heard this news too you were immediately on my mind. I went to high school with Colton. He was a few years younger than me and we didn’t know each other very well but I remember him being the beaming light you describe in all your videos. I’ve been following your story since his passing and I’ve never been prouder of a stranger on the internet. Sending you all the love ❤️

My dad went into cardiac arrest in front of me in the hospital & thankfully was resuscitated. Also majority of his family has/passes of heart issues. I get my heart checked every year and insurance still refuses to cover. I am so so sorry about your late boyfriend. Praying for you all 💗

Multiple echo techs I work with have said we want to start a program where highschool athletes can get scanned for HCM/HOCM. I’ve done one free screening before in sc but it’s hard to find doctors that will read them and want the liability but I know so many techs willing to volunteer their time

Literally so insane that it can happen ANY second- no matter how much time, effort, experience you put in that this could happen to you. You are the greatest voice on any issue surrounding this and I can only TRY to understand how hard it is to talk about. Heart health is soooo important. My dad passed in 2021 to cardiac arrest at age of 50. And a lot of people don’t understand that a lot of insurance companies actually do cover wearing a heart monitor or ekg!!! Regardless it’s worth getting done every year. Sending you love queen

ya i’m currently fighting w my insurance trying to justify why I need to see a cardiologist when my healthy brother passed away a year ago at 38 from undiagnosed heart problems. shit is absurd
