@cees_evryting: 11/2/26: case back in court for a retrial! On March 16, 2012, 15-year-old Sierra LaMar disappeared while heading to her school bus stop in Morgan Hill, California. Her remains have never been recovered. Antolin Garcia-Torres was arrested in May 2012 and convicted in 2017. He was sentenced to life without parole. On February 27, 2026, a California appeals court overturned his conviction, ordering a new trial. His retrial officially began on November 2, 2026, in Santa Clara County, California, and is expected to last several months, potentially into early 2027. A few months ago, on Reddit, someone came forward and said they might have witnessed something but were too afraid to come forward with it. People quickly gave them advice and words of encouragement. It’s sad to see they haven’t came forward with what they witnessed. 💔💔

I wonder when there will be an update in the investigation for the skeletal remains found back in August 2026 on Santa Teresa Blvd which was not too far from Sierra’s home. Not saying it’s her but it could be possible. I pray for justice for this beautiful young girl 🥺
