Mycelium :
😂 Well, I suppose I qualify for both! I've accumulated a few years along the way, but being older certainly hasn't prevented me from remaining young at heart. There's quite a distinction between the years we've lived and the curiosity, humor, and enthusiasm we continue to carry within us.
The way I see it, age tells us how long we've been here, but it doesn't necessarily tell us how deeply we've experienced life or what we've learned along the way.
And regarding your point about loyalty and dedication to oneself, I believe there's something meaningful in that. Remaining true to ourselves doesn't mean remaining unchanged. We can continue learning, evolving, questioning our understanding, and refining our perspectives without abandoning the principles we value.
As for why someone might find that attractive, perrrrrhaps it's simply the freedom of encountering someone who doesn't feel obligated to become what others expect them to be.
After all, growing older is inevitable. Growing wiser takes participation. And losing our sense of humor? Well, that's one particular aging process I have no intention of entertaining! 🌱💛🎩
