@aaron_witt: Long track frames aren’t uncommon, as they provide dozers with better balance and traction. I’ve even seen much longer frames on forest fire dozers, which help them better climb steep slopes. — But in this case, the machine’s grading for agriculture. My guess is that they extended the frame like this to give the machine far lower ground pressure without compromising traction.
