I was just thinking it must feel safer for women because you probably don’t feel so hidden under the new ones

As a NYC engineer- this is absolutely positively the result of the mayor’s enforcement to enhance the look of his scaffolding. However, the push restarted many years ago. by the Department of Buildings. But this is not a choice of contractor-it is a mandate. as a result of all the unsightly scaffolding around the city

It used to be reserved for the nicer neighborhoods but now it has to be everywhere thanks to a mandate! S/o Mamdani for holding DOB and the city accountable on promises they make!

Probably 5x the cost and all that expense will be passed on to the renter.
