@timeless.mysteries6: Scarlett Johansson Says Her Mystery Role In The Batman Part II Gave Her “A Lot Of Existential Angst” Scarlett Johansson is sharing the first comments about her role in The Batman Part II. It is still unknown who she is playing. But she says the part was a struggle. Johansson, an Oscar-nominated actress, told Entertainment Tonight that the film pushed her out of her comfort zone more than next year’s Exorcist: Martyrs. “It gave me a lot of existential angst, for some reason,” she said. “It was very hard to figure out,” she added. “I don’t know why, whether it was just the role or it was just where I am in my life, but it was just hard to crack it.” The film is the sequel to 2022’s The Batman. Robert Pattinson returns as Batman. Sebastian Stan and Brian Tyree Henry also join the cast. Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell return. Her Marriage Story co-star Adam Driver joked he would be in the background of her Batman films. “To work with you in a scene, I don’t need to be paid,” he said. The film is still shooting. Production paused last month because director Matt Reeves had to tend to a private family matter. Steven Soderbergh stepped in to help finish filming. Reeves wrote, “I am not leaving The Batman Part II.” The movie is set for release on Feb. 18, 2028.
