my dept waited until the end of the busy summer season to bring more people onboard. crazy thing is it felt like my queue didn't change because I was still getting calls before other people around me. irony is now I'm on FMLA, but it's for medical reasons, so hopefully the people around me can figure it out while I'm gone

our city waited 5 years to start hiring. Process is a year and another year of training. Then put us on work furlough and wondered why 911 not being answered.
