@the.unseen.index: WHAT IF KNOWING ONE FACT MAKES ANOTHER IMPOSSIBLE TO OBSERVE? Quantum physics has revealed something extraordinary. A particle can produce interference when its possible paths remain indistinguishable. But introduce a measurement that reveals which path it took, and the interference disappears. You gain information about the particle's path. But you lose the pattern that depended on those alternatives remaining coherent. This is quantum measurement back-action. Observation doesn't literally erase history. It changes the information available from the experiment. So here's the question: Does measuring reality simply reveal what exists, or can the act of measurement change what we're able to discover? #QuantumPhysics #ObserverEffect #QuantumMechanics #ScienceTok #PhysicsTok #QuantumReality #TheUnseenIndex
maybe we're looking at quantum mechanics wrong. maybe reading the particle doesn't actually destroy its past. and mind you I'm just spitballing here. just a random thought. but what if, it's past isn't recorded yet, keyword, yet. what if all these particles, on the quantum scale, are actually moving backwards through time? what if by measuring a particle, we can actually measure where it will be, because it is actually traveling backwards?
