30C definitely messed with the typical release schedule in the west, but it’s not like collectors don’t normally have a two month look at what’ll be in any given set on a normal basis. Collectors chasing after 30C won’t relevant to the actual player base when there’s barely anything to affect competitive play in the set, and collectors cracking DLR looking for chases benefits players when playable singles quickly crater in price.
