@latest.new11: Zendaya Reveals The Hardest Part Of Filming Dune: Part Three, Saying “I Physically Can’t” In The Desert Heat Zendaya says the hardest part of making the final Dune movie was the heat. The actress, 30, told The New York Times that meditating “through the heat” was the most grueling part of filming Dune: Part Three. She described scenes where the sun was so bright that she could not change her expression. “I physically can’t,” she said. “I was just pouring sweat, trying to focus, keep my eyes open as much as I can.” Zendaya said the cast had to start getting ready before sunrise to get into their prosthetics “while it’s still cool.” She also said costar Robert Pattinson was always the first one in the makeup chair. Pattinson, 40, told the outlet that “the desert is just another level.” He described a sequence where he sat in a spaceship on a gimbal at the edge of a sand dune. A 350-foot-long model of a sandworm was nearby. He said there are “no negatives” to being in the franchise, “apart from having your sweat drained out of the top of your head.” The film adapts Dune Messiah and is set 17 years after the first two movies. It hits theaters on Dec. 18. Zendaya said in March that the trilogy has “such a special place in my heart.” Would you have lasted a day on that set? #zendaya #dunepartthree #robertpattinson #timotheechalamet #dune
