A year or two from now they’re going to be like remember when we had a sleepover in the basement like it was the best time ever. It’s hard now but as it weaves into the family stories it becomes a good memory of the things that bond you as your own unique family. Maybe you can make it an annual sleepover holiday. 💕

When your kids are older, they will tell the story of the Great Family Sleepover at the new house. It will be filled with laughter and fond remembrance. It’s a difficult season for Dylan and you but the kids truly see it differently. They’re Loved, protected and seen. You guys are Amazing parents and when your children are adults, they will tell the BEST stories of their childhoods!! 😁

We used to be similar with plans. We'd plan and it would go to hell immediately most of the time. We've since learned to have a loose guided idea. The only thing that's a no go is where are we staying/parking. Keep your heads up. You guys are doing great.

as a kid who had to move out of our old house really quickly because it effected our health. As hard and difficult as it was to process, I still look back and am so grateful my parents did that and tried to make it fun for us kids while they prepped our rooms. You're doing great. Everything will fall into place!

When your oldest kids are grown and understand the dangers of mould etc and maybe they see the tiktok videos, they are going to be so proud of you both for how hard you guys worked to keep them all safe and sound as possible, just like my adult kids thanked me for similar things

you should cheer them up with "birthday cake" bedrooms and allow them to create the wildest decor for their bedrooms. it will give them a project to focus on and it will be fun to make the new house their own. ranch room! 😂😂

Been homeless for a few months and we finally got a place. Of course everything went bad and we are living with 1 air mattress and no furniture. It’s rough out here this year 🥲 I think 2027 might be the year for all of us lol
