@abbymeibooks: How I went from talking about books on the internet to making a five figure income as a Bookstagrammer ⤵️ 💭 Did you know your love for reading could become a side hustle? When I started Bookstagram in 2022, I genuinely had no idea people were making money doing this. I just wanted to talk about books and connect with other readers. Fast forward a few years and Bookstagram brought in over $35,000 in revenue last year, and we’re already past $48,000 this year. WHICH STILL FEELS SO UNREAL TO TYPE 😭 But it wasn’t one viral Reel or a brand suddenly showing up with a huge check. It started with figuring out what I already knew how to do and turning those skills into offers 🎉 📖 I knew Canva, so I started creating templates for bookish creators. 📖 I had experience growing my own account, so I started offering coaching and account audits. 📖 I had experience supporting authors, so I turned those skills into author services. 📖 As my platform grew, I started working with brands through UGC and paid collaborations. 📖 I also joined affiliate programs for products I genuinely used and loved. And that’s how things started to snowball! I didn’t wake up one morning with five income streams. I added them as I gained experience, figured out what my audience needed, and became more comfortable charging for the work I was already doing. I share all of this because I remember being the creator who had absolutely no idea where to start.
