I think my wording wasn’t the best 😅 I meant someone that can help me lend me their car just for the driver license test, I don’t have anyone, literally anyone that can help me and I really need to get my driver license asap :(

As a driving instructor in San Jose if you’re over 18 you need someone over 18 to go with you and check in. Get there 15 minutes early and go in and tell them you’re here for your drive test and they’ll tell you where to go. Then you and the person who came with you need the registration for the car, the insurance, the person needs their license and you need your permit. Then you’ll get back in the car you drive and then in the passenger seat and then you go in the line and when you get to the front then the person who came with you can leave and you’ll start your test. You’ll give them the paperwork you got from inside and then they’ll go over the pre-drive checklist and then check the car and then they’ll get in and you’ll start the test. Make sure everything works like the lights, wipers, e brake etc! Good luck!!

Nobody can go with you during the test other than the DMV instructor. Don’t be nervous and remember to buckle before ever starting the vehicle. Adjust mirrors prior to even pulling up.
