@thesameerproject: What happens when the medication keeping you alive costs more every month - and you already cannot afford it? Over the past two months, we have watched medication prices in Gaza slowly climb. Remember, only some of the medicines entering Gaza arrive as humanitarian aid for free distribution through government hospitals and relief organizations. The rest enter commercially, to be sold in pharmacies. With availability so limited, prices rise, pushing essential treatment further out of reach. This woman describes what that means: medical points too far away, treatment she cannot afford, and the fear of going without. She calls for the crossings to open to allow free medical relief into Gaza. Until then, she depends on The Sameer Project for the medication she needs to survive. On September 12, our mobile medical team returned to Dwar Falasteen Camp in Gaza’s Al-Naser area for its second follow-up visit. Forty patients received consultations, health assessments, and free medication for chronic illnesses, including diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Help us keep returning. Your support brings essential medication and medical care directly to people who cannot otherwise access them. Donate to our Medical Campaign link.
