@nickoftimelandscapes: Time to get down and dirty if you want a sidewalk , this job is one to be proud of once complete. You must take these steps seriously, making sure you have proper drainage and the right thickness etc So you have to dig a little at least a couple inches nice and level it’s called grading. Then you’ll set up your form nice and straight or you can cut them slightly on the back side to help a 1 by bend more easier and make some curves. You’ll need some stakes , ether make them out of 2x4s or get metal ones at Home Depot , then hammer them in place next to the forms how you want your design. Now you need to lay down some 3/4 it’s 3 qtr inch road base and tamp that down. Drop in the wire mesh but be sure to have something all the way through holding it off the ground but not raised above the top of the board. Time to pour, insist 3500 psi for the truck if ordering concrete. If you get bags use the 80lb bags.
