Rinpochay, Recently, I moved to a new residence, and I feel truly fortunate that it lies along the route to the palace of His Majesty the Great Fourth. This has given me the precious opportunity to catch a glimpse of His Majesty whenever his car passes by. Each time I see His Majesty, something deeply moving happens within me. Almost instinctively, before I even become fully conscious of the moment, I find my two hands folded in reverence and raised to my forehead, offering silent prayers for His Majesty’s long life, good health, and continued blessings upon our beloved nation and its people. Sometimes, tears of joy gently well up in my eyes, without my even realising it. Such is the overwhelming happiness and reverence I feel in those fleeting moments of seeing His Majesty, even from afar. Deep in my heart, I cherish a humble wish: that one day, I might have the blessed opportunity to receive His Majesty’s sacred touch of blessing, just as you, Rinpochay, have been so fortunate to experience. It would indeed be a moment I would treasure for a lifetime…
