my gf wants to bring our 2 month old son (he will be about that age) to Thailand with her mum and sister and I said I'll look after him when you go and she's like "no I'm not ready for that yet" and I'm like I don't want him that far away "them come?" I really don't want to do anything 11 hour flight where you'll make me babysit the entire 2 weeks and I'd rather be at home with my son

Hot take: George wasn’t a perfect dad but he was a good dad. He cared about his kids even if he struggled juggling it all but Mary certainly didn’t help with her religious fanaticism either. Mary cared too much about the comfort of Sheldon over her other two kids and sheltered him so hard to the point where it reinforced bad habits of his too. She pushed her other two kids away with her religious behavior too. I can’t say George did the same.
