@tikaya329: Cinta yang tak bisa diucap, akhirnya dititipkan lewat doa. Di atas kapal yang lagi menuju Mekkah, ada senyum yang disimpan, ada perasaan yang gak berani diucapin. Cuma saling liat, saling senyum, udah cukup. Kadang memang begitu ya, gak semua perasaan harus dijelasin. Ada yang cukup dijaga, sampai waktunya tiba. "Hidup hanyalah sepotong cerita." Most BEAUTIFUL place to camp when visiting our NEW national park 👇🏻😍🏕️ #onxambassador 📌 Save for your Arizona camping adventures & share with someone you’d explore Chiricahua National Park with! 📍Chiricahua National Park in Arizona just became our 64th national park and WOW! It’s incredible! 🥾 Think towering rock spires, surreal landscapes, epic hiking trails - the Big Loop is a must-hike - and some of the CUTEST wildlife ever (like adorable coatis)!! But if you’re planning a visit to Chiricahua National Park, you might be wondering… 🏕️ WHERE do we stay?! With only one, small campground inside the park and very few places to stay nearby, options are pretty limited! 🌲 BUT, just outside the park in Coronado National Forest you’ll find some absolutely GORGEOUS, secluded dispersed campsites tucked away among the trees, with a peaceful creek flowing nearby! And, you can camp here for free for up to 14 days (within any 60-day period)! 🗺️ The camp spot we snagged was utter perfection and ONLY 6 miles from the park’s entrance. When I wasn’t hiking the park’s trails, I LOVED relaxing under the alligator junipers and sycamores in my hammock and spotting TONS of wildlife! 📱 Spots like this are just a tap away on @onX Offroad maps! It’s how we all find our favorite dispersed campsites! Just turn on the Dispersed Camping layer to see where dispersed camping is allowed, then use the 3D map to explore the terrain and scope out your campsite before you even get there! (I also love using the cell coverage, precipitation and temperature layers so we can plan ahead and be prepared before heading into remote areas). ‼️These are wild, primitive sites with NO restrooms or facilities of any kind. Remember to ALWAYS practice Leave No Trace! Pack out everything (yes, EVERYTHING 💩), use existing campsites, & follow local fire restrictions to help keep these beautiful places wild! #ChiricahuaNationalPark #explorearizona #nationalparks #camping | USA’s brand new national park | Chiricahua National Park | Best camping near Chiricahua National Park | Arizona camping

🌺 At just 17 years old, Private Ian Scrivens was shielding his seriously wounded friend from Argentine gunfire when he was shot and killed during the Battle of Mount Longdon in the Falklands War. Born on 12 August 1964 in Weymouth, Dorset, Ian grew up in Yeovil, Somerset, and attended Westfield School. He joined the Army as a teenager, trained with Junior Parachute Company and went on to serve with B Company, 4 Platoon, 3rd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment. In April 1982, Ian sailed aboard SS Canberra with three close friends from training: Jason Burt, Neil Grose and Mark Eyles-Thomas. After landing at San Carlos on 21 May, 3 PARA advanced towards Stanley through freezing conditions and exhausting marches. On the night of 11–12 June, the battalion attacked Mount Longdon, where fierce close-range fighting left Ian’s platoon suffering heavy casualties. Neil Grose was seriously wounded in the chest. Ian refused to leave him exposed, repeatedly covering Neil with his own body whenever enemy shots rang out. Even then, Ian tried to make his friend laugh. Neil had turned 18 the previous day, and Mark Eyles-Thomas later recalled Ian joking: “How’re you enjoying your birthday party, mate?” As they worked out how to move Neil to safety, Mark placed a hand on Ian’s shoulder to speak to him. A single gunshot rang out. Ian collapsed against his friend, killed by Argentine fire just two months before his 18th birthday. Neil was carried to the Regimental Aid Post, where he died of his wounds. Jason Burt was also killed in the battle. All three young paratroopers are buried at Aldershot Military Cemetery in Hampshire. In 2022, a Falkland Islands beach was named Scrivens Beach in Ian’s memory. Remembering: Private Ian Patrick Scrivens B Company, 4 Platoon, 3 PARA Killed in Action, 12 June 1982 Aged 17 Lest We Forget. #FalklandsWar #ParachuteRegiment #MountLongdon #MilitaryHistory #LestWeForget
