I take call at night, that’s my entire job. NEVER answer the phone or call back on your way in. You’re not obligated to do that while driving! You go directly to the hospital and CLOCK IN, and then check in with the charge. Every hospital I’ve worked at has to pay you for 2 hours at that point.
