Depende... I strongly believe that Jesus can change people's lives. BUT not all "pastors" or "Christians" can make your life better. The Christians around me and the church made my life worse. Imagine calling your disability a curse from God and a sin because you inherited int from the sins of your parents? Biblically, Jesus corrected this in John 9:1-3 but then, some Christians still believe if you have disabilities or mental struggles it means you are possessed by demons or are Satanists. Imagine actual pastors and Christians telling you they want you to die or disappear from their entire lives so they can live a better and happier life without you (because of your disabilities). Imagine them calling you abnormal because you have autism and blindness. Imagine them invalidating your grief and feelings as just being negative and listening to demons when the actual reason are their own words and treatment of you? Again, this came from an actual pastor who leads a church and claims to be a true Christian. She and her husband even said that all PWDs should just be left for dead by their families because they're just deadweight to society. Is that being a Christian? No. Imbis na kayo ang mag lift ng mga tao at maging reason para mapalapit kami sa Diyos, kayo pa ang reason kaya kami nalulugmok sa "depression" na tinatawag ninyong "kademonyohan lang" at tumutulak sa amin to take our own life. Christians should be Christ's representatives here on Earth and while hindi tayo perfect eh we do our best to follow Him and His teachings. Christians are supposed to gather people and help them be saved, not push them away and lead them to damnation just because they feel superior kasi ligtas na raw sila kuno. I'm sorry, nilalabas ko lang po yung bad experience ko sa mga Christians and Church. It didn't mean I stopped seeking God and praying. Nagkaroon ako ng religion trauma because of it. Ang sakit po tapos sariling pamilya ko yan.
