@addisyter1: MOTHER OF SLAIN GHANAIAN TEENAGER ARRIVES IN NEW YORK TO MOURN HER SON The mother of 15-year-old Ghanaian schoolboy Javits Badu Nkansah Frimpong, who was shot and killed in the Bronx last Thursday, arrived in New York on Wednesday, 4 November 2026. Madam Doris Adu Gyamfi, mother of the late Javits Badu Nkansah Frimpong, was received upon arrival at the John F Kennedy Airport by officials from the Ghana Permanent Mission to the United Nations and Consulate General in New York, led by Deputy Permanent Representative Ben Dotsei Malor and Consul-General Anthony El-Adas. The Mission and Consulate remain in close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Accra and relevant authorities in the US to provide the bereaved family with all the necessary support, and also help facilitate arrangements for Javits' funeral and burial. Ghana's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has reiterated the commitment of President John Mahama and his Government to pursue justice for Javits Frimpong, and ensure that his killers) will be made to face the full rigour of the law.
