@leokatiecbt: Some OCD habits are so ordinary that nobody questions them, not even the person doing them. Googling a symptom, replaying a conversation, or skipping a certain movie can look like caution or personal taste. What often gives it away is the reason behind it. When the choice comes from a fear that a thought or image could mean something about you, or make you act against your values, it may be OCD at work. The distress itself is usually a sign of how much those thoughts clash with who you are. Many people only recognize these patterns after a diagnosis, and that's completely normal. Putting a name to them can make it easier to find support, and a therapist who understands OCD can help. #ocd #ocdawareness #intrusivethoughts #ocdsymptoms #undiagnosedocd
