I travelled to NZ in July with a Malaysian passport and did not need the NZeta. I applied and received for my NZ visa in May/June and that was all I needed

We made the counter staff call NZ because it was a midnight flight and within minutes our NZ ETA was done deal we applied just last minute before the flight 🤣🤣🤣 NOBODY ON THE INTERNET TOLD US ANOUT NZ ETA PAYING TO ENTER NZ!! Singapore passport pampers us too much to even have to think about this 🤣
