Try lifting the boom all the way up stick all the way out then shut the machine off and then push the boom all the way down till it hits the ground, thats one of the way too get the air out on the cat next gens

It’s not air in the system. It’s called ride control. You turn it on and it uses a nitrogen charged accumulator to absorb the shock of the boom. It’s pretty much like a suspension system, easier on operator and the machine.
