Ubert Angel now appears to have entered the unfolding Chiwenga drama, seemingly tasked by Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa with political damage control following Mary Mubaiwa's verbal attack on Mkanya Chiwenga. This follows Mkanya Chiwenga's stern warning at the Chinhoyi conference. The timing raises serious questions about the political manoeuvres taking place behind the scenes. Ubert Angel makes one significant admission, Zimbabwe has a leadership problem under Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa. He points to the disgraceful insults directed at the Vice President by varakashi, who have made public ridicule and character assassination part of their political vocabulary. When a sitting Vice President can be subjected to such humiliation, questions must be asked about the leadership presiding over that political culture. The apparent strategy to use Mary Mubaiwa to discredit and ridicule Mkanya Chiwenga has raised more questions than answers, that has led Zimbabweans to rally behind Mkanya Chiwenga, condemning ED, and Mary Mubaiwa's desperation. Now comes Ubert Angel, bringing the Church and the name of God into what appears to be another damage control exercise. Zimbabweans have had enough of this political theatre. ED must stop the constitutional gymnastics and leave Zimbabwe's Constitution alone. His administration's record on the economy, governance and the social wellbeing of ordinary citizens is a disaster. Looting , corruption, incompetence and the plundering of national resources cannot be buried beneath political distractions and religious theatrics. There is a far more disturbing danger Mary must consider. If she continues being reckless and allowing herself to be drawn into political missions against Mkanya Chiwenga, she could become dangerously exposed. In a political environment where accusations and blame can become weapons, she must consider the possibility that, if anything were to happen to her, those responsible could attempt to pin it on Chiwenga. Mary, protect yourself. Do not allow yourself to become a disposable pawn in somebody else's political war. Your life is worth more than ED's political survival.
