@freshairlandscapes: WOULD YOU CHOOSE THIS OVER A SMOOTH RENDERED WALL? 👀 It’s amazing how much difference the finish of a garden wall can make. We built this little blockwork wall as part of one of our garden projects, and here you can see us carefully installing the quartz cladding. Piece by piece, the whole appearance starts changing. And I must say, I’m a big fan of this finish. It’s got a lovely natural texture, subtle variations in colour and a bit of depth that you simply don’t get from a smooth surface. Especially when the sunlight catches it. But here’s something worth thinking about if you’re planning your own garden. The material you choose for a wall can completely change the feeling of the space around it. A smooth rendered wall can look beautifully clean and contemporary. Natural stone cladding brings texture and a slightly more organic feel. Neither is automatically better. It depends on the house, the surrounding materials and the kind of garden you’re trying to create. And sometimes combining the two is even better. That’s why I always encourage homeowners to think about how all their materials will work together before construction starts. Because the smallest features can make a surprising difference to the finished design. Now imagine this was your garden… Would you choose the natural texture of quartz, a smooth rendered finish, or a combination of both? I’m interested to see what everyone would go for! 🌿 #quartz #stone #gardendesign #landscaping
